Danielle Cooper will be speaking on a panel about religious collections at the Society of American Archivists meeting in Atlanta on Friday, August 5 at 1 pm.

From the conference program:

“In 2012, Terry Cook described a paradigm shift in which the archival raison d’être shifts from the preservation of evidence to the definition of community. From this premise, we present a panel that considers the intersections between community archives and religious archives.”

Cooper has been leading Ithaka S+R’s Research Support Services project on religious studies which launched in December.
