Ithaka S+R, in partnership with the United States Agricultural Information Network (USAIN) and 19 libraries in the US, is examining the research activities of agriculture scholars. During spring semester 2016, the participating libraries assembled research teams and conducted semi-structured interviews with faculty and visually documented faculty information practices through photography. The participating libraries will author local reports and Ithaka S+R will create a publicly available final report based on aggregate analysis of the data collected from the participating institutions.

In this presentation, Danielle Cooper and Sarah Williams, life sciences data services librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will share background information about the project’s formation, explore the project’s methodological approach, and provide an update on the project’s progress to date. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer session and attendees are welcomed and encouraged to bring questions.
