Nancy Maron and Sarah Pickle Offer Workshop on Sustainability Strategy for Digital Resources at the Museums and the Web Annual Conference

Nancy Maron and Sarah Pickle are running a workshop, Sustainability Strategies for Digital Resources, at the upcoming Museums and the Web conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The annual conference, which began in 1997, features presentations and training sessions by and for cultural heritage professionals engaged in digital practices.

This half-day workshop will introduce project leaders to the basics of sustainability planning, help them to establish ambitious but realistic sustainability goals, define the challenges they face, and sketch out a plan to achieve them. The session will introduce participants to the “Sustainability Planning Tool” a tool designed by Ithaka S+R to help guide those leading digital resource projects in choosing and testing the strategies that will work best for them.
