Pooja Patel is a senior analyst on Ithaka S+R’s Educational Transformation team. She contributes to Ithaka S+R’s work on credit mobility and Transfer Explorer, supporting initiatives that improve how learning is recognized, applied, and transferred across institutions and systems. Her work focuses on advancing more transparent, student-centered approaches to credit mobility, including efforts that help students, advisors, institutions, and policymakers better understand how credits can count toward educational goals.

Prior to joining Ithaka S+R, Pooja worked across several areas of law, including tax, immigration, and patent law. As a paralegal, she supported clients navigating individual tax issues, helped foreign individuals pursue immigrant and non-immigrant visas, and assisted clients through the patent approval process.

Pooja holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and public relations from Temple University.
