Dr. Brachfeld is an active researcher, an elected member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society, previous recipient of the Antarctic Service Medal, NSF Early Career Award, CSAM’s Sokol Faculty Fellowship, and Montclair State University’s Distinguished Scholar award. Her expertise is in marine geology, Antarctic System Science, paleoclimatology, paleomagnetism, environmental magnetism, and planetary magnetism.
