Ryan McCarthy is a senior software engineer at ITHAKA Labs, where his primary focus has been on building and supporting the JSTOR Access in Prisons initiative. In his time with ITHAKA, he has also supported Juncture and an integration with Hypothes.is. Prior to joining ITHAKA Labs, Ryan worked as an engineer for startups in ed-tech and ecommerce. He holds a BA in English and philosophy from Bridgewater State College as well as an MLitt and MFA in Shakespeare and performance from Mary Baldwin College.
