Public Goods to Support Use of Education Data
The DXtera Institute and the Massive Data Institute (MDI) at Georgetown University host an annual forum focused on the opportunities, challenges, and emerging best practices in the use of education data. This year’s forum will focus on the development of open source solutions and public goods to support responsible use of learner data.
Join to explore current initiatives and consider what the future could look like. Imagine a public infrastructure that removes friction points throughout the lifecycle of education data, unlocking learner data’s potential for families, teachers, administrators, and policymakers. As part of the event, on October 15 at 9:15-10:30am, Ithaka S+R’s Martin Kurzweil will participate in a panel with Rachel Sherer, Jay Carter, and Amy O’Hara on public goods to support use of education data.
