Amy Mielke is an Associate Principal at Ennead Architects and the Director of EnneadLab, a research group within the firm engaged in design explorations of social, environmental, and technological importance that is aimed at expanding the traditional boundaries of professional architectural practice. Named a “Game Changer” by Metropolis and a “Best Young Disrupter” by ArchDaily, she has been recognized internationally, including the Lafarge Holcim Gold Medal for North America, the world’s most significant award for sustainable design. A frequent lecturer and visiting juror, she has taught and advised at Parsons School of Design and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.
