Emily Cook is the Research and Outreach Librarian at the Washington and Lee University Library. She holds a master’s in library science from Clarion University and a master’s in history from Virginia Tech. Emily provides research support and information literacy instruction for the following departments and programs: Arabic, Classics, East Asian Languages and Literature, East Asian Studies, History, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Romance Languages, and the Writing Program. Additionally, Emily coordinates library outreach efforts. These include a library exhibit program that relies on student and departmental co-curation, a biannually produced library magazine, on-site programming partnerships, and social media management.
