Hao Wang is a PhD candidate in the Grado Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He also has an MS degree in statistics, specializing in prediction modeling using regression models and/or machine learning techniques. He is currently working as a graduate assistant for undergraduate education. He supports projects funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute through quantitative data analysis and predictive modeling to increase success, retention, and diversity among undergraduate programs in STEM. In addition, he is an outdoor runner and a volunteer in TED where he has subtitled/written scripts for more than 10 TED talks.
