Ioana G. Hulbert is a researcher on Ithaka S+R’s Libraries, Scholarly Communication, and Museums team, where she focuses on organizations and talent management. A political scientist by training, Ioana’s expertise is in quantitative methods, particularly survey design and methodology. She is passionate about working with institutions to research and further anti-racism initiatives. Prior to joining Ithaka S+R, Ioana worked as a senior analyst in institutional research at the University of New England.

Ioana holds a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of New England, and a PhD in political science from Northeastern University. Her dissertation used an original survey experiment to study the impact of dehumanizing discourse on political attitudes, with a particular focus on race and immigration.
