Jeremiah Perez-Torres is an intern with Ithaka S+R’s Survey team, working on the Community College Academic and Student Support Ecosystems project, amongst others. He is currently a PhD student in the Criminal Justice program at the CUNY Graduate Center, working on his dissertation that examines propaganda and the radicalization process of extremists. Broadly, Jeremiah’s academic and non-academic work is structured on the principle of doing work for the public good in using research to inform policy, increasing educational access to underrepresented and underinvested communities, and helping foster youth graduate college and succeed at their goals. Jeremiah received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Intelligence Analysis at the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
