Lindsey Potts formerly worked as a summer intern with Ithaka S + R’s Libraries, Scholarly Communication, and Museums program, where she conducted research for the Sloan-funded project on the future of scholarly meetings. She is motivated in implementing more accessible and equitable learning spaces for non-traditional students and historically marginalized communities.

Lindsey is a proud community college transfer student. She is currently completing an interdisciplinary dissertation to obtain her doctorate in Comparative Literature at Columbia University. Her work is grounded in Latinx Studies, and her research explores how formulations of Latinx “badness” are consumed and commercialized in US mainstream media.
