Miriam Porras is an analyst at Ithaka S+R with the Educational Transformation team. Prior to joining Ithaka S+R, Miriam completed her MA in Higher Education Administration with a certificate in Institutional Research at Boston College. During her time at Boston College, Miriam had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the School of Education & Human Development, and as a graduate assistant at MIT for the Admissions Office and Office of Fraternity, Sorority, and Independent Living Groups. Miriam is passionate about supporting low-income and underrepresented students in higher education. Miriam also holds a BA in Public Health from the University of Iowa, where she spent the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic contact tracing for Johnson County, Iowa.
