Tammy is an analyst with Ithaka S+R”s Justice Initiatives team, where she is currently working on projects focused on increasing access to libraries and postsecondary education for individuals who are incarcerated.

Tammy is a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a master’s in applied sociology. Her master’s thesis examined individuals who have felonies on their permanent records and how this affects their access and interest in voting. Tammy is also the editor of The Warbler, a weekly newsletter distributed by the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.
