Tammy is an analyst at Ithaka S+R, where she is currently working on projects focused on increasing access to post-secondary education for students who are incarcerated.

Tammy recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a master’s in applied sociology. Her master’s thesis examined individuals who have felonies on their permanent records and how this affects their access and interest in voting. Tammy is also the editor of The Warbler, a weekly newsletter distributed by the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project.
