Joanna Dressel is a senior analyst with Ithaka S+R’s Education Transformation team, where she supports adult learner re-engagement work, including the Ohio College Comeback Compact. Joanna has training in mixed-methods research and quantitative data management. In her previous role as a fellow with Ithaka S+R, Joanna made significant contributions to the Art Museum Director Survey and the Art Museum Staff Demographic Survey reports. Prior to joining Ithaka S+R, Joanna taught Quantitative Analysis at Lehman College and managed the Peer Advising program at American University. Her research has been published in Metropolitics and Work, Employment and Society. She earned her MPhil in sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center and a bachelor’s degree from American University.
