Bethany Lewis is an analyst at Ithaka S+R on the Educational Transformation team. She is experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and her past research has broadly centered on STEM education, school belonging, and pathways to and through college. During her graduate studies at Rice University, Bethany was involved with the Houston Education Research Consortium, conducting research in partnership with Houston Independent School District to help guide school policy. Before attending Rice, Bethany worked at the non-profit College Forward in Austin, Texas as a college access coach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Southwestern University and a master’s degree in sociology from Rice University.
