Cameron Childress is a senior analyst on Ithaka S+R’s Educational Transformation team. He contributes to Ithaka S+R’s work on federal and state higher education policy. Prior to joining Ithaka S+R, Cameron worked as nonpartisan staff for the Kentucky legislature’s Appropriations and Revenue committees. His master’s thesis focused on using quantitative methods to determine the varying effects of statewide higher education policy on postsecondary attainment rates across racial and ethnic groups. Cameron holds a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor’s degree in history and economics, both from the University of Kentucky.
