Kimberly Lutz is the director of publications, communications, and marketing at Ithaka S+R. She is responsible for promoting Ithaka S+R’s research, publications, and growing suite of services to the academic, library, publishing, and cultural communities. Kimberly manages Ithaka S+R’s publication schedule, website, and social media channels.

From 2008 to 2013, Kimberly worked at the University Libraries of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), where she was the director of marketing and outreach, served as co-liaison to the English department, and negotiated for the Carolina Consortium.  Prior to her time at UNCG, Kimberly was the director of publisher relations at JSTOR, responsible for JSTOR’s collection development strategy and creating services and programs for JSTOR’s participating publishers.

Kimberly holds an MLIS from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a PhD in English from the University of California, Riverside, and a BA in English and history from Claremont McKenna College.
