Defining AI Literacy Cohort Information Session
As students and instructors experiment with AI tools, colleges and universities are being called upon to provide support while also navigating complex questions around academic integrity, ethics, and accessibility. Against this backdrop, developing effective and comprehensive AI literacy initiatives remains a pressing priority across higher education.
This July, we’re launching Defining AI Literacy, a collaborative cohort that will work with approximately 15 colleges and universities to define AI literacy using established information literacy frameworks and conduct qualitative research to learn directly from students and faculty on their campuses.
Participants will walk away from the six-month program with a deep understanding of the information needs of their unique campuses, as well as a practical roadmap for incorporating AI literacy into their practices, through the library or other university units.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday, May 5 at 1:00 pm ET for an information session that will share more details about the project, including the timeline, what participants will gain, and how to get involved.
