When: Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:30am – 11:30am
Where: Washington Convention Center, 152B
Kurtis Tanaka (Ithaka S+R), Stacy Burnett (JSTOR Labs), and Anne Ray (Reveal Digital) will be in attendance.
About the roundtable:
Library Services to the Justice Involved (LSJI) is an interest group for library professionals, students, correctional staff, volunteers, or anyone who serves the underserved in correctional settings (prison, jail, detention centers, state mental health institutes, juvenile facilities) or justice-involved individuals (those in halfway houses, community corrections, sober living, transitional housing, on parole, or the formerly incarcerated). We invite all members of this community to join us for conversation, reflection, and self-care, sponsored by ITHAKA. Besides holding space for one another to share about the challenges and high points of serving people impacted by incarceration, our roundtable discussion will offer a chance for participants to make announcements and give updates relevant to others in our community.
