The 2025 survey cycle examined leaders’ perspectives on the library’s core role, governance, and key dimensions of strategy and operations while expanding the scope of inquiry to include emerging areas of influence, including generative artificial intelligence (AI), developments in the scholarly communication ecosystem, and change management.
