On Friday, March 27, Rayane Alamuddin and Martin Kurzweil are taking part in the Comprehensive Advising for Student Success Convening hosted by the Institute for College Access & Success in Washington, DC.

About the convening

An increasing number of comprehensive student support strategies have demonstrated success in producing substantially higher rates of student progress and graduation. Join us in Washington, D.C. for an interactive day of discussion between researchers, practitioners, and policy professionals focused on increasing student success. Together, we will assess the lessons from these proven programs for research, practice, and policy.

This collaborative day will feature a keynote address from Bruce Sacerdote, the Richard S. Braddock 1963 Professor in Economics at Dartmouth College; a panel discussion with CUNY ASAP students; and presentations from evaluators and practitioners representing six successful program models from across the country, including MAAPS at Georgia State, One Million Degrees, ASAP, Project Quest and Inside Track (TBD).
